Haven’t been posting in a while…a lot has happened lately, one of the reasons for this.
Firstly, our car broke down last week, so we had to buy a new one, which we did this week. It’s a Fiat Stilo, nice car, drives nice…but had a little problem. 3 days after buying it we had to take it back. Water in the engine the guys said, probably happened with cleaning the engine. Now it’s back and we don’t have any problems with it anymore.
I also bought a new desk from Ikea, so now I can work better on my stuff. Still have to work on my theme for this blog, and my own site. Shame on me! ^^”
Anyways, I’m planning on updating really soon. Updated the blog software to 2.5, and it’s so far not giving me any hardships.
Today marks my 5th month living in Finland. I had some hardships (finding a job and fixing my paperwork), but I’m finally here and soon me and my gf are going to move to our own place.
Work is pretty busy as usual, so I’ll have a busy month waiting for me! :O
After 4 months in Finland, I finally found a job!! About bloody time me thinks…
I applied at Management Events, located in Ruoholahti in Helsinki. After 2 weeks I got a phone call if I was still looking for a job, had an interview the same week, and got the job on the same day! Talk about being lucky!
Last week I had my first training week in the company, and my luck was that my girlfriend’s parents both had the flu. Guess who got it next? -_-;
So now, after a pretty intense training week, I’m ready to start the real work tomorrow!
I’m going to restyle this site, because I’m not satisfied with the current theme. Always better to make your own personalized theme me thinks. So You’ll see a change soon! I’m thinking also about ideas for my main site: http://www.fin-style.be
It will be about Japanese things in Finland, like shops, events, communities, etc. Also it will contain the google maps API, which I’m messing with at the moment. So, expect to see some changes anytime soon!
That’s right! Today it’s sauna day! After a long week finally the long awaited day arrived, time to relax and sweat my ass off!I can’t think of anything more relaxing since I came here to live, and I’m eagerly looking forward every week to go to sauna. I’ll have to find a nice massage parlor though, haven’t really looked around that much for them. Hope I’ll never end up in a sauna with this guy!Anyways, soon I’m off to sauna! ( ^.^)/
